Contacts are easily updated by simply finding the contact and clicking on an update button. The changes on the contact is updated immediately and reflected across all practitioners for the system. Once a contact has been added on to the system all practitioners within the business can see the contact.
Quick contacts allow the user to simply enter a persons name and telephone number on the fly. A user is not required to first create the contact since this is done as part of the appointment creation. The contact is then also added to a local database for easy re-use.
Contacts are emailed a username and password for Smiary upon creation. This enables the contact to login and manage his/her personal information as well as see upcoming appointments. The contact can also manage associations with business they want to utilise.
Smiary makes use of a global database of contact persons. Once a contact has been created on Smiary the contact is searchable (with limitations) to all businesses and practitioners. Another practitioner will be able to search for a contact but will be required to request an association from the contact in order to access his/her full profile. Only once the contact has granted access to the business will the business have full access to the contacts information.
